"Rumors"
Nikki Young has been cast as Chris in The Renaissance Guild's upcoming production of Neil Simon's Rumors.
Directed by Chadd Green, the farce tells the story of an anniversary party that goes comically awry when the wife disappears, the host shoots himself (in the earlobe), and the guests try to cover up the events of the night. The cast also features Dru Barcus, Danielle King, Charles Riley, Denise Swain, Barry Goettl, Luisette Zurita, Peter Guzman, and Stephen Weser.
Rumors will open at the Little Carver Civic Center on Friday, July 16, and will run through Sunday, August 1.

Nikki Young has been selected as an official red carpet correspondent for the 2010 NCAA Women's Final Four in San Antonio, Texas.
Nikki will interview guests as they arrive at the tournament's Salute Premiere event, taking place on Friday, April 2 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

TheatreASAP
Nikki Young will be among the actors participating in the
San Antonio Theatre Coalition's (SATCO's) sixth annual 24 hour play
making event, TheatreASAP. This will mark Young's fourth time participating in the event; she had previously performed in TheatreASAP in 2004, 2005 and 2007.
The event will begin on Friday, September 11, as local
playwrights meet to draw props, cast lists, and San Antonio-related
lines of dialogue. Once they have chosen their elements, they have
only twelve hours to incorporate them into a one-act play. The
finished scripts will be given to teams of actors and directors on Saturday, September 12. From there, the teams must memorize, rehearse, and stage their plays within twelve hours.
The finished plays will premiere at 8pm on Saturday, September 12,
at Trinity University's Stieren Theatre (One Trinity Place, San
Antonio, Texas 78212).

"Dream Healing" Premiere
Nikki Young appears in Dream Healing, the debut feature film from
writer-director Dora Pena, which will have its red-carpet premiere at
the Santikos Palladium on Saturday, August 8.
Shot entirely in San Antonio, the film stars Jesse Borrego and Gabi Walker.

The forum is free and is held the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Central Branch of the San Antonio Public Library (600 Soledad), with networking from 6:30-7:30pm, followed by a panel discussion from 7-8pm.

"Four Minutes Till The End" Goes To Cannes!
Four Minutes Till The End, the award-winning short film from Film Classics Productions, recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Nikki co-stars with Rick Carrillo, Gabi Walker, and Liz Moise
Gonzalez in the science-fiction thriller, written and directed by Bryan
Ortiz.
Produced in 2008 for the 48 Hour Film Project, Four Minutes Till
The End won five awards in the competition, including Best Film for the
San Antonio region; the film also won the Jury Prize from the 2008 San
Antonio Local (SAL) Film Festival and the Robert A. Burns Award for
Best Horror from the 2008 Seguin Film & Arts Festival. In 2009, Four Minutes Till The End
was an official selection of Cinefestival en San Antonio, and screened
at Filmapalooza, the annual festival for the 48 Hour Film Project, held
at the Miami International Film Festival.

"Undergrad Records" 'Hits' The Big Time
Nikki Young's recent appearance on the online reality series Undergrad Records now stands at over 150,000 hits and counting.
The series follows college student Patrick Owen as
he tries to build his own record label using his last financial aid
check; Young, as herself, appears to offer marketing advice to Owen.
